National Ice Cream Day was yesterday, which of course called for a trip to Chicago’s famous Jeni’s ice cream. I couldn’t dive right into ice cream, however, so a group of us went to TRENCH for brunch. I’d never been to TRENCH before, but immediately fell in love. They had an incredible menu that was just a little bit southern and a little bit British, and all the entrees changed me as a person (for the better).
It was a cooler 70F degrees – cool for July, anyway, – so I was stoked to bring out this new pair of True Religion jeans. I normally am not a denim fan (my friends all commented that it was weird to see me in jeans!), but I’m obsessed with this pair adorned with grommets (click here for a similar fit). They’re just a little bit badass and a little bit Americana; making them the perfect pair to celebrate National Ice Cream Day with a little bit of a chicken and waffles, too. (Of course, who could resist a choker top and a snakeskin sandal?)
Jeans gifted by True Religion. Opinions remain my own.
M. F. Husain. A series of his works are at the Art Institute until March 4, and I’d recommend it. ✨… https://t.co/XQ1unSNancFollow
